Leading experts, luthiers, publication editors, investors and more joined Florian Leonhard at the official launch of his highly anticipated book, ‘The Makers of Tuscany’.

After years of research, the newly published literary work celebrates the revered makers of Florence and the region of Tuscany, alongside Florian’s expert analysis of the characteristics of each luthier.

Held at Mondomusica 2022, in Cremona, Italy, the book launch saw numerous figures from within the violin business attend, congratulating Florian on the achievement.

In fact, the book has already sold half of its initial print run.

It was really heart-warming that of all my colleagues who are world-leaders in their fields, and who attended Mondomusica, all were present at the book launch. To see something you have created, and spent a decade of your life working on, received so warmly and with such interest by your community is hugely rewarding. Florian Leonhard, ‘The Makers of Tuscany’ author

An upcoming London launch is next on the calendar for Florian, who is already at work on his next project.
